Chris Brown and Nigerian singer Wizkid are set to perform in Mombasa!!


Chris Brown and Nigerian singer Wizkid are set to perform in Mombasa on the 8th of October. According to posters doing rounds, Chris Brown was scheduled to hold a concert in August this year.

The two have just confirmed they will be at the Nyali Golf club. Kenyans though should check their bank accounts before they make plans of attending the hyped event. Regular tickets will be going for 10.000 shillings, while VIP and VVIP will go for Sh 20,000 and Sh 50,000 respectively.





The event, dubbed Music Festival, is being organized by Mombasa Rocks and will be an exclusive event that will see Mombasa being the second city to host international superstars, shifting the focus from Nairobi. Moet Hennessy Eastern Africa will be the key sponsors of the event.


“We wanted to make it a surprise for everyone, that is why we did not say anything before, until we were near the concert date,” said Alexadre Helaine Marketing Manager, Moet EA



This will be the first visit to Kenya by the American singer whose real name Christopher Maurice. The event is aimed to attract the crème de la crème of the industry although it has not yet been revealed who will be the curtain raisers for the two big artistes.
