After years of bad luck with women, singer Colonel Mustapha has finally found the one.

Speaking exclusively to Heads Up, the Loboko singer revealed that he plans to get married to his girlfriend Mikato.

“We have been dating for two years now and I plan to take 50 cows to her family,” said the singer who recently recorded a collabo with Genge rapper Mejja.


Before meeting Mikato, Mustapha was in a high-profile relationship with fellow musician Marya whom he claimed cheated on him with other showbiz personalities. The couple had dated for four years and was even planning to get married before they split, citing religious differences.

Marya later accused him of being abusive and that their families were aware of his violent nature. He also dated Huddah Monroe whom he says caused bad blood between him and Prezzo. He described his current girlfriend as humble and very “wifely.”

“I didn’t know that I could find someone as beautiful yet so composed. She is not interested in the hype,” he said.
